Why use a professional makeup artist?

A professionally certified makeup artist is trained in the art of highlighting your best features and conturing any imperfections. As well as having the ability to design a specific look that is ideal for your face, eye shape, skin tone and texture.

How long does the makeup application take?
I like to allow 60-90 mins per client. This includes setup, sanitization and packing up when providing services in other locations that are not in my studio.

Can you provide services for all ethnicities/skin tones?
Yes.  I work with clients from all over the world.  My make-up kit contains every foundation color available in the market.

What makeup brands do you have in your kit?
I only work with professional cosmetic brands. My makeup kit contains a variety of products that I know and enjoy using. The first cardinal rule when it comes to makeup is always Hygiene, I am very Keen and obsessed when it come to cleaning my kit including my brushes. When it comes to myself I live by my own standards, that if I would not use it for myself I would not use it on any of my clients.

No. but I can give you recommendations on hair stylist that I have worked in the past with.

Should I have my hair or makeup completed first?
Yes, hair is the first thing you should do, this helps maintain your makeup application in pristine condition.

Should I have a makeup trial for Bridal services?

A makeup trial is definitely recommended for weddings. It's an opportunity to explore different makeup styles and discuss the theme of your event, your gown, how you usually wear makeup and share ideas about makeup styles you might be interested in. The trial reduces stress and the risk of not liking the end result on that very important day of your life. You can arrange to have your hair and makeup trial on the day your taking your engagement pictures or any other wedding related event. This way you'll have something fun to do with your makeup. The trial with take about 90 minutes and you can bring references of any makeup style that you like.

How many people can you fit in on a wedding day?

Since I am very detailed oriented I usually book no more than 6 people (bride included). Exceptions can be considered.

How long will my makeup last?
Yes. I only use professional products they have a higher concentration of pigment compared to commercial makeup lines, therefore your makeup will last up to 10 hours or more. The only thing you will need to touch up is your lips, having a lipstick or lipgloss is essential. If your skin gets super oily or glossy I recommend using oil-blotting sheets to absorb the shine without ruining the makeup.

Do you offer airbrush makeup? What is airbrush makeup?

Yes, I do airbrush makeup for full face coverage. Airbrush makeup is sprayed onto the skin using an airbrush compressor instead of sponges, brushes, fingers or other methods. This is used to give your skin a flawless radiant and natural look. This is mostly used on Bridal makeup and offered upon request, price will vary.
